FEHRS Metal Building Construction, LP is an experienced general contractor specializing in turnkey commercial, industrial and retail facilities. We have a qualified team and the latest equipment to handle everything from site preparation to structure completion to interior finishing for any size project.

Company History

FEHRS has provided high quality building construction services since 2000 and is recognized as one of the area’s most reputable builders. Located in Seminole, Texas, we are uniquely situated for easy access throughout the west Texas region and New Mexico. At conception, we were a metal building erector but have grown into a complete design-build firm providing our clients with a turnkey project, from start to finish, with the experience to advice and enhance the expectations of our clients. We have completed projects in Oklahoma, West Virginia, Kansas and Kentucky. FEHRS is an accomplished construction manager and builder offering complete design-build services and work regularly with architectural and engineering firms and have a proven track record of completing quality projects safely, on time and on budget.

Philosophy

Teamwork is our key ingredient. FEHRS operates on a team concept and our many skilled and experienced staff and field team members have established a standard of excellence that is well known in the construction industry. We perform commercial, industrial, medical, aviation, institutional, government and specialty projects involving new buildings, additions and renovations. We work with established vendors who can fabricate pre-engineered metal buildings, overhead cranes and airplane hangar doors. As a general contractor, we self-perform dirt-work, carpentry, metal building erection, metal studs, drywall, ceiling grid, painting and HVAC. We have our own in-house mechanical and electrical divisions with staff that carry a Class A HVAC Mechanical Contractors license and a Master Electrician’s license. We also have licensed professional engineers on staff as well.

It is our belief that the building process begins most successfully with pre-construction services during the design phase that will afford the advantage of the contractor’s experience and point of view to provide the utmost value to our clients. This is our proactive team-oriented approach to all projects, regardless of size, which has proven to actually shorten construction duration and lower costs without reducing quality.

We at FEHRS believe that leadership is a prerequisite to establishing safety as a core value in the workplace. Our team demonstrates its commitment to safety by conducting regular workplace inspections, accident investigations and by clearly defining safety roles and responsibilities for our employees. Managers are responsible for fostering a culture of safety participation by encouraging each employee to become a workplace safety leader.

Our safety staff consists of OSHA 500 certification, 30-hour OSHA Construction Industry “train the trainer” certification, 30-hour OSHA General Industry “train the trainer” certification and 10-hour OSHA certification. Our safety trainers make sure all employees receive extensive training in their field as well as cross-train them in all areas so that they understand every aspect of each job. We have a behavior-based safety program that encourages all employees to assess potential hazards around them and report them to management.
